Solution Architect (Presales)

Over the last 20 years, Sympa has helped some of the largest companies in the Nordics put people at the centre of their strategy. With over 1,000 customers and a strong install base, we’re continuing our growth journey — and now we’re looking for a Solution Architect to play a key role in our sales process, helping us win new business by designing solutions that meet both customer needs and Sympa’s product standards.
As a Solution Architect, you’ll act as the technical authority during the presales phase, helping translate customer requirements into well-designed, scalable solutions. You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, and Services, supporting the full sales cycle from early discussions to project handover. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll combine product expertise, communication skills, and analytical thinking to design solutions that create real value and support winning deals.
What you get to do every day
• Act as the technical product expert during the sales process, supporting Sales from RFPs to solution scoping and handover to implementation
• Play a key role in winning new business by shaping solutions, proposals, and customer discussions together with Sales
• Understand customer processes and requirements, and translate them into feasible, scalable Sympa solutions
• Design high-level solution architectures that align with Sympa’s standard product setup and ecosystem integrations
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and communicate product capabilities and roadmap in a way that supports customer decision-making
• Produce overviews of customer environments, HR processes, and system landscapes
• Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with both customer needs and Sympa product standards
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Services to ensure a seamless transition from sales to delivery
• Contribute to continuous improvement by developing better demos, materials, and scalable presales processes
• Support internal teams by sharing knowledge and strengthening technical product understanding across the organization

What do we value in our candidates?
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a customer-facing, commercially driven role and enjoys playing a key part in winning new business together with Sales. You are comfortable combining technical understanding with a strong sales mindset, and you see solution design as a critical part of creating customer value and closing deals. You have experience working with SaaS solutions and understand how to design scalable solutions that meet both customer and business needs. You’re proactive, analytical, and able to communicate complex topics clearly to different audiences.
Furthermore, the following experience and skills are needed to succeed
• Experience working with B2B SaaS systems and understanding of how complex software solutions are configured and implemented
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and vice versa
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience with demos or workshops
• Experience supporting sales processes or working in a presales environment is highly valued
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail when designing solutions
• Ability to quickly learn new systems, concepts, and product capabilities
• Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work closely with Sales, Product, and Services teams
• Structured and proactive way of working, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
• Professional fluency in English and Swedish or Danish is mandatory
• Experience with HR processes or HR systems is considered a plus
